The new Wiis 4.3E's backup will only run for HDD or PEN. The responsibility of any change is always yours. Softmoding can brickar the wii, is unlikely, but possible.Īccepted the fact before proceeding or stop here. Nintendo may very well one day be sick of softmod and someday launch a FW amending any SystemMenu and kills any wii with CIOs installed, as they did with the Korean Wiis. You can update and install whatever you want with the MMM or the WAD Manager, but never FW (SystemMenu)! If you do, you get a brick. YOU SHOULD NEVER UPDATING THE NINTENDO WII VIA! (If you do, you can brickar the Wii - you have been warned).
